WooCommerce to Shopify migration, without losing a customer.
Products, customers, order history, subscriptions and saved cards moved across. Every old URL redirected. Your WooCommerce store keeps trading until the switch.
Why brands leave WooCommerce, and why the move goes wrong
Most brands we speak to have outgrown the same things: plugin conflicts after every update, hosting and security they have to manage, a slow checkout and a developer bill that never shrinks. Shopify takes most of that off your plate and gives you a faster checkout, Shop Pay and Shopify Markets for selling abroad.
The move itself is where brands get hurt. WooCommerce Subscriptions don't transfer on their own, saved cards are tied to your payment processor, and WooCommerce URLs like /product/ and /product-category/ don't exist on Shopify. Miss any of those and you lose subscribers, revenue and rankings in the same week. We plan those first.
What's included in a WooCommerce migration
Saved cards moved from Stripe
Payment tokens migrated from your processor so subscribers keep billing and nobody has to re-enter card details.
WooCommerce Subscriptions rebuilt
Every active subscription recreated in apps like Loop with the same products, prices and next billing dates.
Products and variations
Simple and variable products, attributes and images mapped to Shopify products, variants and metafields.
Customers and order history
Accounts, addresses and past orders imported so repeat customers and lifetime value carry across.
URL redirects
Every /product/, /product-category/ and page URL mapped to its Shopify equivalent with a 301 redirect.
Klaviyo reconnected
Lists, flows and tracking moved to the Shopify integration so email revenue doesn't dip after launch.
Shopify theme build
A fast theme built for conversion and paid traffic, ready on launch day.
How a WooCommerce to Shopify migration runs
- Step 1
Scope
Products, plugins, subscriptions, payment processor and URLs audited. Anything unusual flagged before we quote.
- Step 2
Build
Theme, data imports and apps set up on a staging store while WooCommerce keeps trading.
- Step 3
Rehearse
Test imports, a payment token transfer and a full redirect check before launch day.
- Step 4
Cut over
Domain switched, subscriptions live, and orders and rankings monitored through the first weeks.

Common questions
Is Shopify better than WooCommerce?
For most DTC brands past the early stage, yes. You stop managing hosting, security and plugin conflicts, the checkout is faster and better optimised, and adding things like subscriptions or international selling is simpler. WooCommerce gives more raw control, but most brands pay for that control in developer time.
Can I keep my WooCommerce URLs on Shopify?
Not exactly. Shopify uses fixed paths like /products/ and /collections/. We map every old URL to its new one and set up 301 redirects, so links, bookmarks and rankings carry over.
Can WooCommerce Subscriptions move to Shopify?
Yes. Subscriptions are rebuilt in a Shopify subscription app such as Loop, and payment tokens are migrated from Stripe so customers keep their saved cards and billing dates.
Will customers need to reset their passwords?
Passwords can't be moved between platforms. Customer accounts and order history come across, and customers either sign in with a one-time code or set a new password on their next visit, depending on your account settings.
How long does a WooCommerce to Shopify migration take?
It depends on catalogue size, subscriptions and integrations. We scope every migration before we start, so you get a fixed timeline and launch date up front.
Will my store go down during the migration?
No. The new Shopify store is built and tested on staging while WooCommerce keeps trading. The switch happens in one planned cutover.
